In her portrait and social documentaries, Laura Pannack explores complex relationships between the people portrayed and the photographer. Many of her projects develop over several years, allowing her to capture the intimacy, shared ideas and experiences of these relationships. Her work has been exhibited worldwide, including at the National Portrait Gallery, the Houses of Parliament, Somerset House and the Royal Festival Hall in London. Pannack has won numerous awards including the John Kobal Award, the Vic Odden Prize, the World Photo Press Awards, the Juliet Margaret Cameron Award and the HSBC Prix de la Photographie. She lives and works in London, UK.
