VICTORIA PIDUST

In her space-encompassing and cross-media installations, Victoria Pidust reflects on the possibilities of abstraction. She studied multimedia at the Institute of Book Studies and Printing Technology, took photography courses at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv and then completed studies in visual communication and fine arts and painting at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin. The artist has been honoured with numerous awards such as the Mart Stam Prize 2020 and the National Photography Prize of Ukraine (2013, 2015, 2017). Pidust has had solo exhibitions at Kunstverein kjubh (2021) and ZERO FOLD Cologne (2020), has been part of several group exhibitions as well as being represented at Curiosa Sector at Paris Photo (2021). Victoria Pidust lives and works in Berlin.
