Weronika Gesicka, born in Wloclawek, Poland, is a visual artist who focuses on photography and also creates objects and artefacts. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her numerous awards include the Paszporty Polityki Award 2020 for Visual Arts, the EMOP Arendt Award 2019, and the Foam Talent Award 2017. Gesicka’s work has been exhibited worldwide and is held in collections such as the Dom Museum Wien, Austria, the Arendt Collection, Luxembourg, the MuFo Museum of Photography in Krakow, Poland, the National Museum in Wroclaw, Poland and the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation, Germany.
